iOS 18.2 build 22C5142a is the official Beta 4 and Public Beta 3 release of iOS 18.2, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 20 November 2024.[1]

Settings[edit | edit source]
- On the iPhone 16 series, the Camera Control page now has a shortcut to related accessibility options.
- The default search engine can now be changed from the Search page. It was previously only available under the Safari page.
- A graphic and description has been added to notification badge options for the Mail app.
- The App Store and App Installation pages have been moved from the top menu to the All Apps section.
- The Default Apps page now displays the subtext "Manage default apps on your iPhone".
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
- Contact photos in the Mail app have been rounded off.
- 'All Rings Closed' Activity Awards for Apple Watch have been added to the Fitness app.
- In the Photos app, the video scrubber will now display milliseconds in the timestamp.
- On the iPhone 16 series, slight wording changes have been made to Visual Intelligence.
- Fixed an issue which prevented WhatsApp calls from displaying in the Phone app.
