iOS 18.0 build 22A5307f is the official Beta 3 release of iOS 18, which was released to Apple developers on 8 July 2024.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Control Center[edit | edit source]

  • Redesigned the flashlight control.
  • Added a dropdown toggle to controls with a sub-menu that previously could only be opened by holding the control.
  • Optimized the Music Haptics and Vehicle Motion Cues control to provide better feedback.

General[edit | edit source]

  • Added a dynamic mode to the iOS 18 wallpaper that changes by time.
  • Added new options for Conversation Boost.
  • Fixed bugs regarding dark icons.
  • Third party apps now support dark icons.
  • Updated the Maps dark mode icon.
