iOS 17.1 build 21B5056e is the official Beta 2 release of iOS 17.1, which was released to Apple developers on 3 October 2023, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- StandBy mode has new options for devices with an always-on display.[3] The display can now be set to turn off automatically, after 20 seconds, or never.
- Double-tapping the 'Search' tab in the App Store will now automatically bring up the search field.
- The new ringtones and text tones from iOS 17.0 RTM have been re-added.
- Slight adjustments have been made to system-wide haptic feedback.
- A bug which would ignore the charge limit option on the iPhone 15 series has been fixed.
