iOS 13.0 build 17A5547d is the official Beta 5 release of iOS 13, which was released to Apple developers on 29 July 2019, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • On iPadOS, users can now adjust the size and grid layout of icons on the Home Screen.[3]
  • Major adjustments have been made to the Share sheet, with actions now being categorized and grouped together.
  • An animation has been added for switching between Light and Dark mode, making the transition between the two seem much smoother.
  • The Automations feature in the Shortcuts app has been temporarily removed. It would be re-added in iOS 13.1 Beta 1.
  • Haptic feedback has been added to the volume indicator.
  • New wallpapers for the Home app have been added.
