Bash, also known as the Bourne Again SHell, is a shell used for Unix, Linux, and in Windows Subsystem for Linux. It was created in 1989, by Brian Fox for the GNU project.
It is used widely for a terminal to run commands, start a X server, as well as supporting colored ASCII chars.
