Android 12 build SPB3.210618.013 is the official Beta 3 build of Android 12. It was released on 14 July 2021 for Google Pixel phones.
This build includes the final SDK.

Settings[edit | edit source]
- The setting icons are now monochrome.
Wallpaper & style[edit | edit source]
- New design.
- Allowed the user to pick an alternative color scheme, either generated from the wallpaper or a static one.
- New toggle for changing the colors of some app icons.
- Removed the option to change icon shapes and font.
- The wallpaper color extraction algorithm has been tweaked.
Scrolling screenshots[edit | edit source]
- Enabled in this build, being added in an earlier build and first enabled in the 2021-04-13 build.
- When taking a screenshot there is a "Capture more" button.
Animations[edit | edit source]
- There is a new charging animation when the phone is shut down, which is similar to the regular charging animation.
- The ripple animation when tapping things is less noticeable.
- A new animation for opening apps.
- When unlocking the phone with a fingerprint, the unlock animation starts at the fingerprint sensor.
Setup[edit | edit source]
- New design that matches with the rest of the OS.
- Supports fingerprint sensors mounted in the power button.[1]
AppSearch API[edit | edit source]
- Added in this build.
- Allows apps to search for items in other apps, and make their own items searchable.
Game mode[edit | edit source]
- Was added in Beta 1 but hidden.
- Has options to record the screen, see the FPS, stream to YouTube (not working) and take a screenshot.
- A new Game Mode Interventions API allows OEMs to improve the performance of games that are no longer being updated by developers.
- The user can enable a floating button with common actions.
