• Adds the Magnifier view.

App Pair

• The user can swap the position of each app in a pair by double tapping the center.

Launcher

• A search bar has been added to the widget list.
• The home screen can show 2 pages at once on tablets.

Settings

• The Wi-Fi setting has been renamed to "Internet".
• An "extend compatibility" option changes the hotspot frequency to 2.4GHz.
• A new option allows you to hold the power button to call Google Assistant.

Splash screens

• Every app has a splash screen.
• It shows the app’s icon with a background matching the current system day/night theme.

Animations

• A new charging animation was added.
• A new animation when opening the app drawer was added.
• The ripple effect has been tweaked.

Privacy related changes

• The location dialog has a fine and coarse location toggle.
• A toast message is shown when an app pastes data from the clipboard.
• You can toggle an app's access to the real-time, conversations, default and silent notification categories.

Other changes

• New emoji design.
• The Conversation widget picker has been tweaked.
• The "Reduce Brightness" setting was renamed to "Extra dim".
• The volume panel has a new UI.
• The thick brightness slider has been tweaked.
• A quick setting toggle for Device Controls, Cards & Passes was added.
