Windows Server build 17035 is the third Insider Preview build of Windows Server, version 1803. It was released on 15 November 2017.

New features[edit | edit source]

Enabled Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), as well as added a new feature to it called Data Deduplication, a then highly-request feature for both Storage Spaces Direct and ReFS.
Developers can now use localhost or loopback to access services running in containers on the host.

With the remote desktop tool in the Server Manager solution, it is possible to connect a machine to complete scenarios that are not yet supported natively in Honolulu.
Support for adding Windows 10 client machines as connections in Honolulu. It's also possible to manage them with the subset of tools in the "Computer Management" solution.
Support for GUI experience to configure Switch Embedded Training.
Improved data grid performances.
Updated Events tool data loading.
Removed LAPS in Service Mode.
