Windows Server build 16299.15 is the official RTM build of Windows Server, version 1709. It was released on 17 October 2017, along with its client counterpart. Unlike Windows Server 2016, this build was originally released with the Server Core SKUs only, and thus Desktop Experience was not present. However, a copy of the Datacenter SKU containing the full Desktop Experience feature set was later uploaded on 28 December 2020.
