Windows Server 2022 build 20285 is a preview build of Windows Server 2022 released on 21 January 2021.
- This build starts including the Windows Server 2022 naming as opposed to Windows Server 2019. In addition, the version shown in areas such as
winver
and Settings is now 21H1 instead of 2004, though there is also a ReleaseId
key in the Registry with a 2009 value, much like in Windows Server version 20H2. The version value would be later changed to 21H2 in build 20289.
