The unidentified PDC 1996 build of Windows Nashville is the earliest known build of the operating system. Screenshots of this build can be found in a PowerPoint presentation file (&BELFI052.PPT
) in the source code for 3D Movie Maker, likely meant for PDC 1996, although the slides themselves go unused during the event.[1] This build would've either been from October or November 1995 going by the dates in the screenshots. The event demonstrates the new Explorer shell integration featuring a 3D hub environment with voice chat functionality titled "OnLive! Traveler - Utopia Gateway".[2]
A screenshot of an unidentified build of Internet Explorer 4 can also be found within the same presentation file.
