Windows NT 3.5 build 782 is the official Release Candidate 2 build of Windows NT 3.5. While this build has been available in binary form for many years, the source code for this build was leaked on 15 May 2020.

Changes

• WINNT.BMP has been updated once again, now having a 3-dimensional Windows logo that would be used in the final product.

Source code

The ~80% of leaked code has been shown to be buildable, producing many binaries necessary for a working system. However, the leaked source code lacks source files for certain components such as LSA/CBC/AES encryption and some headers, instead supplying pre-defined and pre-compiled files, among with manual patches to make environment bootable. These source files were likely left out for security reasons.
