Windows Media Player 9 build 2601 is an early build of Windows Media Player 9, which was shared online in July 2002.[1]

  • The equalizer and playlist button on the top has been removed from the top bar.
  • The visualization indicator button icons have been updated.
  • Services tab has been added to the sidebar.
  • Application color chooser has been added, however it's not functional yet.
  • Advanced Audio Controls has been added.
