Windows 7 build 6948 is a pre-beta build of Windows 7. This build was shown in an image in the MSDN's Engineering Windows 7 blog "The Windows 7 Taskbar",[1] which demonstrated the features of the superbar. In this build, the Windows Explorer icon has been altered to resemble the RTM.
