Windows 3.1 build 047 is an unleaked build of Windows 3.1, mentioned in internal Microsoft e-mails from September 1991.[1]
The e-mails discuss an issue with DR DOS 6.0, this version of Microsoft Windows 3.1 and SmartDrive (codenamed Bambi) when using the DIR command, resulting in invalid characters on screen. In addition, CHKDSK.EXE found more than 100 files with errors, namely cross-linked files, invalid clusters, as well as invalid and incorrect lengths.
