Windows 2000 build 1994 is a beta 3 build of Windows 2000, which was found on 23 June 2015.[1]
Changes[edit | edit source]
- This build changes the Active Desktop wallpaper to the image used in the RTM. This was used up to Windows XP build 2202.
- This build moves both
winntandwinnt256bitmaps fromC:\WINNT\Web\WallpapertoC:\WINNT.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
Installation[edit | edit source]
- This build can cause a CPU shutdown error on hypervisors. Using PCem, 86Box or VARCem is recommended.
- Booting from the CD results in a quick crash.
- An error might occur during the network setup. If this happens, restart the computer and go through the user information portion of setup again.
