Windows 11 build 22808 is a build of Nickel, the 22H2 development semester of Windows as a service. It was mentioned in an issue posted to the GitHub repository of Windows Package Manager on 9 June 2022.[1] The reason behind the build number jump is currently unknown, although it's likely that this build comes from a refresh branch similar to the one maintained before the general availability of the original release of Windows 11.
