Windows 10 build 19631 is the nineteenth Insider Preview build of Manganese, the 20H2 development semester of Windows as a service. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 21 May 2020 and has general changes, improvements, and bug fixes which are listed in the official release announcement. Two days prior to the release of this build, a comment was made by a Microsoft employee using this build on 19 May 2020, regarding an issue with the mouse in Visual Studio 2019 on the Visual Studio Developer Community forum.[1]
Changes[edit | edit source]
Updated the configuration of Windows Hello to make sure it works well with 940nm wavelength cameras.
- Windows Sandbox WSB files are now case insensitive.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Some devices have a chance of crashing with a BSOD upon resuming from hibernate if booting from eMMC storage.
- The update process to this build has a chance of hanging for extended periods of time.
- Both the documents and downloads sections in the privacy settings have broken icons, and as such, rectangles show up where the icons are intended to be instead.
- Taskbar preview thumbnails sometimes do not render consistently. If this happens, a blank area will be shown instead of the thumbnail.
