Windows 10 build 19624 is the seventeenth Insider Preview build of Manganese, the 20H2 development semester of Windows as a service. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 6 May 2020.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- Temporarily removed the search box in the default apps Settings pages.
- Updated the VPN connection logic, so that if the user disconnects from a VPN network, it now untick the option to auto-connect, similar to the way that Wi-Fi is handled in the OS.
- Updated the text of the Add a Device dialog so the list of examples under Bluetooth includes controllers.
- Added the ability to copy the text in the Optional Updates Available section in the Windows Update settings.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- The update process to this build has a chance of hanging for extended periods of time.
- At the time of release, some devices failed to update to the build and instead got an error with the error code 0xc0000409.
- Both the documents and downloads sections in the privacy settings have broken icons, and as such, rectangles show up where the icons are intended to be instead.
