Changes[edit | edit source]

  • General changes, improvements, and bug fixes listed in the official release announcement.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • Interacting with your favorites in Microsoft Edge may cause the aforementioned browser to crash.
  • There's a chance of the system crashing with a green screen of death if you log out or shut down.
  • If you delete a locally-stored folder that is synced to OneDrive, the system will crash with a green screen of death.
  • The acrylic background on the taskbar flyouts (network, volume, etc) is missing.
  • When the "Make text bigger" option in the Ease of Access Settings page is used, text clipping issues may be encountered, and sometimes the text may not resize everywhere.
  • Narrator sometimes does not read in the Settings app when it is being navigated using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys. To fix this issue, turn on Narrator's Scan Mode temporarily, and then turn Scan Mode back off. If this is done, Narrator now correctly reads the content in Settings when you navigate it by using the Tab ↹ and arrow keys.
  • When using Narrator's scan mode, ⇧ Shift with selection commands in Microsoft Edge, the text does not get selected correctly.
  • After you set up a Windows Mixed Reality headset for the first time on this build with motion controllers, the controllers may have to be re-paired a second time before appearing in the headset.
  • You cannot type certain East Asian characters using IMEs into certain text fields if you're using Microsoft Edge.
