Windows 10 build 17634 (rs_prerelease) is the fifth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 October 2018 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders that were opted into Skip Ahead on 29 March 2018.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- The Calendar app adds the ability to search for events via a search box. This feature can only be used if Outlook, Hotmail, Live and Office 365 accounts are used, if a local account or any other account other than the ones listed above is used, such as a Gmail account, the search box will not appear.
- General improvements, changes and bug fixes listed in the official announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Clicking on links to the Microsoft Store in the Settings app, links in the tips section or the link to Windows Defender can cause the Settings app to crash.
- The user might see the desktop for a brief time before the lock screen appears upon resuming from stand-by.
- The Movies & TV app can crash if the user denies access to their video library and then navigates to the Personal tab.
