Windows 10 build 17112 is the nineteenth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 2 March 2018.

Changes[edit | edit source]

  • Minor changes to the privacy part of the OOBE.
  • General improvements, changes and bug fixes listed in the official announcement.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • Windows Mixed Reality will run extremely slowly (with a framerate of 8-10fps) on this build. It will also crash multiple times at startup.
  • The Microsoft Store has a chance of being either completely broken or disappearing altogether after upgrading to this build.
  • If you open a file that is only available online from OneDrive that hasn't been previously downloaded to the PC, the system can crash with a green screen of death. A workaround is to right click on the selected files, and then select “Always keep on this device.”
  • A small number of devices that have this build can encounter a scenario where the OS would enter a reboot loop instead of booting into the operating system.
  • The Movies & TV app can crash if the user denies access to their video library and then navigates to the Personal tab.
