Windows 10 build 17110 (rs4_release) is the eighteenth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 27 February 2018.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- Enterprises can now run custom actions and scripts synchronously with setup during feature updates. Setup can also migrate the scripts for future updates.
- Enterprises can now post rollback scripts to run in admin context or system context.
- Added a new
postrollbackcontext
switch that is designed to be run along with thepostrollback
switch to specify the context in which the scripts should be executed. - General improvements, changes and bug fixes listed in the official announcement.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- The Microsoft Store has a chance of being either completely broken or disappearing altogether after upgrading to this build.
- Selecting a notification after taking a screenshot or game clip opens the Xbox app's home screen instead of opening the screenshot or game clip.
- A small number of devices that have this build can encounter a scenario where the OS would enter a reboot loop instead of booting into the operating system.
- The Movies & TV app can crash if the user denies access to their video library and then navigates to the Personal tab.
