Windows 10 build 17025 (rs_prerelease) is the eighth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 25 October 2017, then to Slow Ring users on 1 November 2017.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- Redesigned the Ease of Access section in the Settings app.
- Updated the Startup page in the Apps section in Settings to add a new option to see available tasks specified by the app developer on a UWP app.
- Redesigned the Microsoft YaHei Chinese font. Notable changes includes adding three additional types for this font, they include Semilight, Semibold and Heavy, as well as some improvements to make the fonts look less jagged at small sizes, as well as redesigning the punctuations and symbols on said font.
- Enabled the Reveal aspect of Fluent Design on the Clock and Calendar flyouts.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Using swipe gestures to dismiss notifications do not work in Action Center.
- If you switch between Virtual Desktops using hotkeys or the touchpad, the screen can flicker.
- Opening the Game bar with has a chance of making the mouse cursor become unresponsive.
- The Calendar toast dismiss and snooze icons may be missing from some notifications in Action Center.
