Windows 10 build 16362 is the fifth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders that were opted into Skip Ahead on 13 September 2017.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- If you're connected to the Internet, you can now see your lock screen personalization (such as Windows Spotlight and/or status information from Cortana, the Calendar and Mail apps and many others.)
- You can now select the desired audio channel for Narrator speech output.
- This is the first build to include in Windows Client Desktop Editions the Kernel Mode Network Power Dependency Broker (KNetPwrDepBroker.sys). This component, previously part of Windows 10 Mobile, provides an API to wake up network interfaces from low power mode for kernel mode drivers, such as the ones managing Network power consumption on ARM SoCs.
