Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- An issue in the
MBIM_MS_LTE_ATTACH_CONTEXT
structure was fixed, which used to cause a parsing failure when implementing a Windows Mobile Broadband class driver.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- The lock screen app
LockApp.exe
runs continuously after the user locks the screen for the first time after a reboot, which may cause system initiated user feedback to be rejected. - Users of a device with a common 64-bit chip architecture may experience a Microsoft Edge crash in the
d3d11.dll
library. This happens because a driver uses a Win32 kernel service entry that is prohibited in Microsoft Edge. - Microsoft Edge or the Shell Experience Host may crash because of an application fault in the
Windows.Storage.dll
library. - If Windows Explorer restarts following a crash, an app crash may occur in the
CoreUIComponents.dll
library. This could cause a crash in Sticky Notes or a third-party cloud storage application. - A crash may occur in the
InputService.dll
library when an app attempts to retrieve a large amount of text from an edit buffer. This commonly occurs during Office 365 and Office 2016 testing. - The Windows Firewall service may use too much CPU (up to 100% of a core) after connecting to a work or school network, after switching networks, or seemingly at random times. This causes excessive battery drain while the screen is turned on.
