Windows 10 build 16192.1001 is a build of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Multiple photos of this build were shared on 15 June 2020. It was later shared on 30 October 2024 as a VHD file in the Enterprise SKU under the x64 architecture.
Hidden features[edit | edit source]
As the build itself comes from a development branch, it notably includes several features that were either not included by default in public branches and were either not included by default in public branches until they were later rolled out to Windows Insiders or are reserved for internal Microsoft use.
Control Center[edit | edit source]
This build comes with a Control Center which is similar to the one later introduced in Windows 11, however it's disabled by default. To enable it, use the mach2 tool to enable the feature ID 1195122
. After enabling, it shows up in the system tray as a new icon, and clicking on it shows the controls from the bottom of the Action Center. If the Control Center is enabled, the Action Center will only show notifications. Once enabled, it cannot be disabled via the system icon settings.
Cortana in the system tray[edit | edit source]
Also included is an experimental feature that would move Cortana to the system tray, instead of being next to the Start button. To enable it, use the mach2 tool to enable the feature ID 11314742
. After enabling, it shows up in the system tray as a new icon, and clicking on it opens a new Cortana conversation UI. It is enabled regardless of the user's regional settings, so it is possible to enable this version of Cortana even if the system is set to a region that doesn't support it. Once enabled, it cannot be disabled via the system icon settings.
