Windows 10 build 14361 (rs1_release) is the sixteenth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Anniversary Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 8 June 2016.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- Various improvements to Windows Ink.
- Various improvements to the Settings app. The navigation pane is white in light mode or black in dark mode.
- A new Blu-ray drive icon was introduced.
- The icon for the network Quick Action was changed to a different icon instead of the globe in the previous builds.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Text prediction using the Japanese IME will freeze the system. A workaround is to turn off text prediction. The user can do this by right-clicking the IME icon (either "A" or "あ") on the system tray, click Properties, go to Advanced, navigate to the Predictive Input tab, and untick “Use predictive input system”.
- Navigating to the Privacy pages in Settings will crash it.
- If a download link is clicked on Microsoft Edge, sometimes it will open a tab and close without doing anything. The workaround is to go to the Download page and start the download there by clicking "Save" or "Save As".
- In certain localized versions of this build, you will not be able to open the Start menu while an app is installing.
