Windows 10 Mobile build 15055 is an Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update, which was released in the production variant to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring on 10 March 2017.[1] The test variant of this build was shared on 23 September 2024.
Changes, improvements, and fixes[edit | edit source]
- An issue is fixed from recent flights where the volume control might stop working when listening to music in Groove after an endpoint change (for example plugging in headphones).
- A bug is fixed that improves speech reliability of Cortana where it fails with a connection error.
- An issue is fixed where multi-turn Cortana speech interactions weren’t working (for example, when creating a reminder in multiple parts, as opposed to doing it in a single sentence).
Known issues[edit | edit source]
- A bug has been discovered that causes background tasks to not run in the background like they should such as OneDrive’s camera roll sync feature.
- If user's device experiences an unexpected reboot, in some cases users may lose their call, text, and email history may be lost.
- There is a bug in this build that can cause a number of inbox apps to fail to launch (such as Store).
- Some pages are constantly reloading or refreshing, especially in the middle of scrolling them in Microsoft Edge.
- Speech packs will be unable to download on this build.
- Some background tasks don't run as they should like OneDrive's camera roll syncing feature.
- Unexpected reboots may happen. As a result, data could be lost such as text, call and email history.
