Windows 10 Mobile build 14915 is the second Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update, which was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 31 August 2016[1]. It's available as an update from an existing version of Windows 10 Mobile.[2]
Bug fixes[edit | edit source]
Moving apps between the internal storage and an SD card will no longer cause them to get stuck in the pending state. Additionally, the Windows Insider Program page in Settings is functional on this build. The user will also no longer reveive multiple mesages telling them to fix their Microsoft Account login in a quick succession. Ringtones in the .mp3 or .wma format that were downloaded or copied to the Ringtones folder will now automatically show up in the list of available ringtone, alarm and notification sounds. Opening Microsoft Edge's advanced settings will no longer cause Edge to save downloads to the default location instead of what the user has specified.
Several translations were improved, for example the right verb is now used in German on a Store app install notification.
Cortana's text to speech capabilities are working again in this build.
Several third party apps, such as Yahoo Mail, Trivia Crack, Google and the Skype Translator Preview app will no longer crash.
Continuum-capable devices will no longer face issues trying to connect to previously paired Windows 10 PCs.
Known bugs[edit | edit source]
It is impossible to download and install additional speech and language packs.
