Windows 10 Mobile build 10536.1004 is an Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Mobile. It was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring on 14 September 2015.[1] This build can be downloaded and installed from Microsoft.[2]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- Insider Hub is re-added in this build.
- Mobile hotspot functionality is fixed.
- Voice input now supports these new languages: Japanese and English (India)
- Direct updates from Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows 10 Mobile preview builds are available again.
- Two-factor authentication is fixed when a phone is fixed for both text and phone authentication at the same time.
- Start screen is fixed where it mostly results in displaying "Loading..." in a loop until device is rebooted.
- Quite Hours (Do not disturb) is fixed.
- The delay on showing date and time in the Lock Screen is improved.
- Pinch and zoom now works in Maps app.
Updates to Photos app[edit | edit source]
- A folder view is included which makes it easy to see OneDrive and PC folders in the app.
- Folders on the SD card can now be seen.
- Photo viewing and context menus are now faster.
- For phones, zoom and panning is faster.
One-handed mode[edit | edit source]
- One-handed mode is introduced for smaller devices.
- Pressing and holding the Start button now enables the one-handed mode in all devices. When done, the screen will slide down so user can reach the items at the top of the screen.
