Windows 10 Mobile build 10512.1000 is an Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Mobile. It was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 12 August 2015.[1] This build can be downloaded and installed from Microsoft.[2]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
This build includes minor new features changes and bug fixes which are listed on the official announcement.
- You can now set the lock screen background from the Photos app.
- Improved Latvian and Chinese inputs.
- Improved overall stability and performance of the operating system.
- Improvements to the Kid's Corner tile layout.
- Improved reliability of Data Sense notifications
- Updated Shape Writing algorithm.
Fixed issues[edit | edit source]
- An issue is fixed where apps installed on SD cards weren’t working after a reboot.
- An issue is fixed where Camera would not launch when the phone was locked.
- An issue is fixed where notifications for incoming text messages weren’t appearing.
- An issue is fixed where the touch screen wouldn’t be responsive after ending a phone call on some devices.
- An issue is fixed where folder tiles have obviously overlapping text.
