Talk:Windows Longhorn build 4093
New copy of this build[edit source]
Wait, I seen a few images of the wallpaper from build 4074 in this build, and I've safe a working Safe Mode screenshot in this build, isn’t this the new copy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by BGRComputers.co (talk • contribs)
- This is not a new copy. I just happened to have copied the 4074 wallpaper over to 4093 since the tree disgusted me. Those screenshots were actually created a while ago which is why they are like that, and I can't really reproduce this again (what I did was registry edits), so I just used those.
- The safe mode one was a weird glitch that occurred when I tried to upgrade from 4074.. First time I tried to boot I would get a bug check and then I was stuck in a black screen, so I picked directory services restore mode and then the system hanged at that stage with a mouse pointer and a safe mode text screen but I was not able to get any further. This proves safe mode is achievable by some way (which might be using some driver from 4074 as a stop 0x7B error is inaccessible boot device), but until we find out that's all I got. --ATeamInc (talk) 16:32, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- By the way, in this build's Help and Support and fixed control panel screenshots, I've seen the clock tile in the very bottom of the sidebar. And also, would it be possible to port the unmanaged-DWM from build 4074, build 4081, or build 4082 to this build? --BGRComputers.co (talk) 19:21, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
