Talk:Windows 8 build 9200 (win8 gdr soc ti)
Can this build work on VirtualBox?[edit source]
Same here with the other compiles. Shams1917 (talk) 09:34, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- I was able to install Windows 8 build 9200, but not this one on a Virtualbox 46.8.174.181 10:17, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- As this is an ARM32 build, unless you use a Mac, no. You can, however, use QEMU instead by following these instructions. Also, you have to use a workaround to disable time sync in VirtualBox, this is much easier done in QEMU. See the „Setting BIOS date“ draft page. -

- As long as they are x86 or x86_64 (this means all but this and the win8_gdr_soc_nv compile), you can use VirtualBox w/o any problems. You just have to use a workaround to disable time sync for timebombed builds. -
