Talk:Windows 10 build 10514

source[edit source]

There is a pre installed ADK inside this vhd as far as I can remember, so you can build your own winpe.wim there...

At least I can confirm that the BetaWorld ss is indeed came from that vhd. I'm not sure if you can find it, but yeah.. I cannot download that due to its size... please check again.

There's not something called Server ADK versus Client ADK IMO, and after all its not WinRE, or I'd definitely remove it in that wiki. But.. anyway I'm not going to make edits as you may continue to play around the VHD.. CI611 (talk) 05:55, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
I consider this build not notable since I'm verified that the custom WinPE boot images created from System Center Configuration Manager within the .VHD file IS THE SAME WinPE from Windows Server 2016 build 10514. EmpyreusX (talk) 06:10, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
Have you checked the Windows Kits folder for the Windows ADK installation? Inside you can find winpe.wim and that is the thing I'm taking about. SCVMM itself is not considered a build, but the Windows ADK preinstalled in the VHD which is a completely standard ADKPE and is notable.. We're not looking at the same thing from the start to the end... CI611 (talk) 09:46, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
The WinPE in the wimre.wim file you mentioned and the WinPE on Server build 10514 are based on the same compile (Windows Server build 10514). Since the preconfigured OS in SCCM is also based on that particular build, jumping to a conclusion that the .wim file is a Windows 10 build is too hasty and needs more investigation.
