Talk:Windows 10 2022 Update

Has it released yet?[edit source]

I know that Microsoft said that they plan to launch Windows 10, version 22H2 sometime in October (Which is this month) but however, some people have already spotted ISO download links for it meaning that it is getting closer to release. Microsoft has not yet officially announced the update's GA date or the official name of the update. Given how Microsoft did not announce Windows 11 2022 Update until its GA date, I think that once it releases, Microsoft will tell everyone through a blog post that it is available.

They just released the update just now. It is called Windows 10 2022 Update. Have they put out a blog post about it on the official Windows blog? WindowsGuy2021 12:17, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
I just read the official blog post that they put out just now. There is no mention of any features other than the mention of a limited scope of new features and functionality. I will look and see if they have published the support dates for the update. WindowsGuy2021 12:29, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
I really do not know if adding a new features section is neccesary at the momment due to the lack of an official change log for Windows 10 2022 Update. Microsoft is not saying what is new in this update. I think it is safe to assume that there is barely any notable changes aside from a notable change that allows the user to receive important nofications while focus assist is on. This is not suprising given that Microsoft has scaled back feature development of Windows 10 since late 2020 and the last big major update for Windows 10 was the May 2020 Update 2 years ago meaning that after that update, Windows 10 entered into maintenance mode and this is even before Microsoft warned users about the EOL date of Windows 10 in June 2021. Replace the main screenshot with the one that has Search Highlights[edit source]

Yesterday, I clean-installed this update and it comes with Search Highlights enabled by default. So, I think we should upload a new screenshot that has Search Highlights because the current one does not have it. User:Someone/Signature/Design1

The current screenshot is from May 2020 Update. Although not much has changed since then, I think that the new Search Highlights thing represents the current state of Windows 10. - Windows logo (2001).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 10:41, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Weather Card For Lock Screen[edit source]

The weather card for the lock screen has arrived in Windows 10 with 19045.3396. An innovation in the sense of UI requires the listing of this structure — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ningereley (talkcontribs)
