SINIX
SINIX is a UNIX operating system that was made by Siemens. The first releases of SINIX were a modified version of Xenix for their line of PC-X computers, first released in 1984. Later releases from versions 5.44 and after have used the name Reliant UNIX after Fujitsu and Siemens were merged into Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH.
Versions of SINIX based on UNIX System V was designed to run on Siemens' RM-200, RM-300, RM-400 an RM-600 machines, which was based on the MIPS processor. They were also designed to run on the PC-MX2, MS300-05/10/15/30 an MX500-75/85, which were based on the NS320xx series. Other later versions of SINIX were also compatible with IBM compatible machines.
The last release of SINIX was version 5.43 released in 1995, and the last release of Reliant UNIX was version 5.45B released in 2001.
