Microsoft Plus! 98 build 1700.2 is the earliest available build of Microsoft Plus! 98. This build largely contains differences in the themes. While some themes don't exist yet, there are two themes that never made it into the final product: Gourmet and Skateboard Kid. It was included in the 36th volume of the Microsoft Beta Evaluation Program.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Unlike later builds, it allows to set a theme and run the Maintenance wizard before the computer is being restarted.
- Picture It! Express does not properly register the installation to the installed user, and as a result has an invalid product ID and labels itself as an unauthorized copy in the About box.
