The unidentified PDC 1993 build of Microsoft Cairo is a build that was shown at the 1993 Professional Developers Conference.[1] Despite the build appearing in content earlier than the airing date of the 1994 Microsoft Business Solutions Telecast, where a demo of Cairo appears in the telecast, it has been determined to be compiled later than the aforementioned build.

Compared to the BST 1994 build, there is only one button at the left end of the taskbar instead of three, meaning that the menus have already been unified to a single menu. This can be seen as a stopgap, as the "Start" text on the button has not been implemented yet. Likewise, a clock has now been implemented at the other end and the taskbar itself now acts as a program overview rather than as a folder. Just like the other build, this one also has an interesting mix of the window controls from early Chicago builds and the ones from the RTM build of Windows 95. The Minimize and Maximize buttons have the same appearance as in early Chicago builds (there is no Close button implemented yet), but the window menu button has already been replaced by the application's icon, just like in the RTM build of Windows 95.
