Mac System Software 6.0a9 is an early alpha build of Mac System Software 6.x which was leaked on 26 September 2022.[1]

The installer will throw out an error saying "Installer could not be made the system volume (unknown error). Try restarting with it as the startup volume". Otherwise, it is still installable.
