Mac OS X Tiger build 8S165 is the PowerPC version of the 10.4.11 update of Mac OS X Tiger released on 14 November 2007. Unlike most updates of Tiger, this was a major feature update released in the wake of Mac OS X Leopard's release a few weeks prior; bundling Safari 3.0 with the update along with other Leopard-related transfer tools, in addition to the usual bug fixes prior updates brought.
Barring early Leopard betas, this is the final build of Mac OS X to run on PowerPC G3 processors. It is also one of the few releases of Mac OS X where the minor version number is at or above 10.
