Mac OS X Lion 2010 build is the earliest known build of Mac OS X Lion. This build was demoed at Back to the Mac keynote on 20 October 2010. The full build number and exact compilation date is unknown, and the build was never publicly released. It is the last known build with Front Row software and old Mail.app.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • Mission Control, a built-in feature that provides the user with a comprehensive view of the programs currently running, merging Dashboard, Exposé, Spaces and full screen apps into one.
  • Launchpad has been introduced in this build. It is a screen containing installed apps.
  • Full screen apps, a native feature that allows to display apps on full screen without distractions.
  • More advanced Multi-Touch gestures, that allows a more fluid system-wide operations.
  • Mac App Store - a program to buy and download apps.
