Mac OS X Cheetah build 1P2 is a Server beta build of Mac OS X Cheetah.
Server-only features and changes[edit | edit source]
As this build is a Server build, it includes more features and changes than the client version. These include:
Setup[edit | edit source]
A Software Serial Number is required to use the OS.
User interface[edit | edit source]
The whole user interface design is changed to be completely in Graphite instead of Blue.
Preinstalled Server applications[edit | edit source]
Applications included in the Server release that aren't in the Client include:
ACGI Enabler, Macintosh Manager and Server Admin.
Finder[edit | edit source]
The Terminal is pinned onto the toolbar for easy access.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Most of the setup has placeholder text.
- The logo might be missing in About This Mac.
