macOS Sonoma build 23E5180j is the official Beta 1 release of macOS Sonoma 14.4, which was released to Apple developers on 29 January 2024, then to public beta testers a few days later.[1][2]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- Several new Emojis have been added, which are apart of the Emoji 15.1 update.
- The Podcasts app now includes auto-generated transcriptions for episodes.
- The "Listen Now" tab in the Music app has been renamed to "Home".
- The new ringtones and text tones from iOS 17 have been added.
- Safari has been updated to version 17.4.
