macOS Sonoma build 23C5030f is the official Beta 1 release of macOS Sonoma 14.2, which was released to Apple developers on 26 October 2023, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- The Collaborative Playlists feature is now available in Apple Music.
- The Contact Key Verification feature for iMessage has been added. It is designed for users who may face "extraordinary digital threats", allowing them to further verify that they are messaging with the people they intend.
- In the Apple TV app, Movies and TV shows are no longer in separate sections of the store.
- New Weather and Clock app widgets have been added.
- Safari has been updated to version 17.2.
