macOS Monterey build 21A5534d is the official Beta 8 and Public Beta 7 release of macOS Monterey, which was released to Apple developers on 28 September 2021,[1] then to public beta testers the next day.[2]

- The icons of Keynote, Numbers and Pages have been changed to fit individually with the new icon design.
Known issues[edit | edit source]
This build is known to be the most unstable build of macOS 12
- There's an issue where the color of the menu bar can't change when dark mode is enabled.
- There's a new issue in this build, where wallpapers will glitch out, resulting to a sketchy half-lined black screen.
- Some monitors in this build might not properly work.
- There's a new issue in Night light when the screen always turns on and off the screen the same time.
- There's a new issue where AirPlay will not work perfectly in this build.
- There's a new issue in this build, where screen sharing might not also work as how it did.
- The performance in this build might sometimes decrease.
