MS-DOS 6.22 build 2260 is an unconfirmed and incomplete pre-release build of MS-DOS 6.22. It was leaked in May 1994 by the warez group PHOENIX, although only one part of the release is currently available. As such, this build is incomplete and cannot be fully verified.
File dates are already set to 31 May 1994 even though the group released it on the 25 May, suggesting this might be a release candidate build, where Microsoft often already doctored file dates like in the final release. Another posibility is that this build became the final release after testing.
