iPhone OS 1.1.1 build 3A109a is the official RTM build of iPhone OS 1.1.1 for the iPhone, which was released to the public on 27 September 2007.[1]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- The iTunes Store app from iPhone OS 1.1 has been added.
- Items in the Stocks and Weather apps can be now reorganized.
- Mail attachments are now viewable in portrait and landscape modes.
- Home button double-click shortcut to phone favorites or music controls.
- Battery status for the Apple Bluetooth headset is now shown in the status bar.
- Double-tapping the spacebar will now insert full stop and space (". ").
- New passcode lock time intervals have been added.
- Alert volume can now be adjusted.
- Speakerphone and receiver volume has been increased.
- Preferences to turn off EDGE/GPRS when roaming internationally (Data Roaming on/off option) has been added.
- Support for TV out has been added.
Fixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed a bug that allowed an attacker in Bluetooth range to gain remote arbitrary code execution.
- Fixed a bug where going to a link preceded by
tel:
in Mail will dial a phone number without confirmation. - Fixed a bug where disabling JavaScript in Safari would not take effect until Safari was restarted.
- Fixed multiple bugs where visiting a malicious website led to cross-site scripting.
