iOS 7.0 build 11A4449a is the official Beta 5 release of iOS 7, which was released to Apple developers on 6 August 2013.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The background color of the boot screen now matches the device's front bezel color.
  • Banner notifications can now be pulled down to access additional information.
  • The icons that are displayed while a user is in a call are now outlined with circles.
  • The Settings app has been updated with more colorful icons.
  • The Cellular section in the Settings app now displays data used by apps that have been uninstalled.
  • An option to disable Control Center while in apps has been added.
  • The "On/Off Labels" accessibility feature has been added.
  • The "Slide to power off" UI has been adjusted slightly.
  • App launch animations have been made faster.
  • The unlock sound has been removed.
