iOS 17.5 build 21F79 is the official RTM build of iOS 17.5, which was released to the public on 13 May 2024.[1] Prior to that, it was released six days earlier as the official Release Candidate build to Apple developers and public beta testers.[2]

Cross-Platform Tracking Detection[edit | edit source]

Introduced Cross-Platform Tracking Detection, which notifies the user if a compatible Bluetooth tracker they do not own is moving with them, regardless of what operating system it is paired with.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

  • The Lock Screen gallery now includes the 2024 Pride wallpaper.
  • Support for the upcoming Beats Pill speaker has been added.[3]
